For some time now, Google has been working on and perfecting a new Google Search Console. While the old one worked fine, this new Google Search Console is set to be ready for release, according to Google. This is a major launch and will play some part in helping webmasters and search marketers get more info than ever before when looking at searches.
The main change is that Google can now get 16 months of data built-up instead of the meager three (3) that was available beforehand. Other minor changes are being made and have been part of the Beta users who got to try it out until now. They took some major feedback from ‘top contributors’ on their help forums and various other channels to help build the most diverse collection of information with regards to what Google Search Console can actually do.
While it might seem like a small change, this holds some important changes for the tool. As time goes on, we expect Google to carry out further tests and changes to try and get the right balance and performance.
